Yesterday (July 1), we uploaded an update of our BookMacster Sync extension to the Chrome Web Store.  Chrome will automatically download and upgrade our BookMacster and Synkmark users.  This new version 38 requires an additional permission, which we requested so that BookMacster users can land new bookmarks using our Status Item (aka Menu Extra) or Dock Menu from Chrome, Canary, Chromium and Vivaldi.  It sends the URL and title of the frontmost window to BookMacster whenever a user clicks our Status Item or Dock Menu.

(Chrome labels this new permission Read your browsing history, because if we did this constantly and saved the information, which we don't, we could indeed collect your browsing history).

Anyhow, users must re-approve and re-enable, by clicking the orange-circled ! which appears in Chrome's toolbar after the update.  If you don't see that,

1.  Run Google Chrome.
2.  Click in the menu: Window > Extensions.
3.  Look for the BookMacster Sync extension.
4.  If the icon is gray, switch on the checkbox Enabled.  A popover will appear.
5.  Click Re-enable.
