Google Bookmarks : Export Fails to Upload All

We have reproduced a bug in which Google Bookmarks (not to be confused with Google Chrome’s bookmarks) fails to show all of the bookmarks exported by BookMacster.  What will happen is that, after an export to Google Bookmarks (File > Export to > Google Bookmarks), the Status Bar at the bottom of the window will indicate that, say, 999 bookmarks were added, for example:

     +999 Δ0 ↖0 ↕0 -0

Now if you repeat the export operation immediately, you expect to see zero changes, because nothing has changed, and all of the bookmarks in your document should already be in Google Bookmarks as a result of the first export

     +0 Δ0 ↖0 ↕0 -0

However, what you instead see is that some number of bookmarks were re-exported, for example,

     +57 Δ0 ↖0 ↕0 -0

and if you repeat the export again and again, you see that there are always these 57 or whatever being re-exported every time.  Furthermore, if you click the tab: Reports > Sync Log, find the names of some of the bookmarks which are constantly re-exported, and search for them in the Google Bookmarks web app, you will see that they are not there.  Google Bookmarks never stored them.

This is probably due to a bug in Google Bookmarks and not in BookMacster, because the bookmarks also fail to appear when entered manually into the Google Bookmarks web app.  This bug is shown in this video on YouTube.  To verify that your Google account is affected by this bug, try to enter the name and URL of one of the missing bookmarks as shown in the video.

The only solution to this problem appears to be to use or open a new Google account, or use a service other than Google Bookmarks.  Delicious, Diigo and Pinboard are supported by BookMacster, and unlike Google Bookmarks, appear to offer some support when bugs are found.
