Surprise.  I think it's not a real bug, just confusing to use.

In your destination Bookmarkshelf, click Settings ▸ Structure.  Make sure that some boxes are checked.  For the application you mentioned, you probably don't want any Hard Folders.  So, leave all the boxes on the left un-checked, but check all the boxes on the right.  Rationale: With no Hard Folders, everything you drag into there will go to Root.  So, Root must allow everything.

That fixed it for me.  Does it fix it for you?

In a future version, we'll change those things to be on by default if a Bookmarkshelf is created with no Clients, and maybe display a warning or something.

Cannot get Copy to work between 2 BookmarkShelves

I'm trying the 1.2.1 demo.

What I would like to do is tie one Shelf to Safari and use the 2nd (not tied to Safari) to move folders from the 1st that I no longer need but do not what to trash (i.e. large list of links generated during research).

I cannot seem to get copy or move to work at all.  I've tried both dragging and <command>-C/V but the app just beeps and nothing happens.

Ideas?
