Please explain what you mean by that, Assegai.  What did you do and what did you see?

Great! That worked and Safari is now sorted.  I have added Firefox as a Client, all other settings the same - now I can't get the Bookmarks to load into Firefox?

Hello Assegai,

I read all you did.  You need to do one more step: Export.  This is in the Bookmarkshelf menu.  Your Bookmarkshelf is a document which mirrors Safari bookmarks when you Import and Export.  But it's actually a separate data set.  This allows you to reorganize, check and undo before committing to Safari.

Now, if you created your New Bookmarkshelf with Safari as the only Client, it would have activated two features which make the mirroring more automatic.  Click in the tab SettingsOpen/Save and look at the explanations of Mirror-Open and Mirror-Save.

Sorting Bookmarks in Safari

I am obviously not understanding all I know about BookMacster!  I cannot get my bookmarks sorted.  I have read all the help and forums but don't understand how to do this.

I am using only Safari at this time. (I would like to add Firefox but decided to KISS)  I have Safari set as the Client - I have Settings set with 'Sort the Root' 'Do Sort' and 'Folders above Bookmarks'  I saved BookMacster (in DropBox) I went to 'Content' and clicked "Sort All'  - no luck - nothing changes in Safari Bookmarks!  It appears that BookMacster has no effect at all.
