Well, upon further study it looks like DEVONagent's Plugin API is not designed to do what we want.  Please read my suggestion in the later post I made today in this thread.

http://forum.devontechnologies.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=16365&p=75890#p75866

Try the workaround I suggest regarding Camino bookmarks, and let us know how close that comes to what you want.  If you've never had Camino installed on that account, you'll need to install Camino, create at least one non-default bookmark, and then quit Camino.  This is because you need to create a Camino bookmarks file before BookMacster will recognize Camino as a client.

If you want it to work better, I suppose we could request that DEVON expand their plug-in API.  But that might take a long time to happen.

I think maybe this could be done by writing a plugin to DEVONagent.  I'm looking into it and shall post a reply after I get some questions answered.

Hi Jerry-

I'm wondering if Bookmacster could be used with DEVONagent in the same way it works with other browsers. Safari bookmarks can be imported into DEVONagent but I don't use Safari to manage bookmarks. And I don't want to import bookmarks into DEVONthink. I just want to be able to add bookmarks to Bookmacster and access my bookmarks when I am using DA's built-in Web browser.

DEVONthink is close to having the ability to sync its databases between multiple Macs, the only major feature that is missing from the database application. (The second public beta of the sync plugin was released around a week ago. Syncing a database that can be updated on more than one computer is a daunting task...) Once that happens it would be great if I could use Bookmacster with DEVONagent since I use Dropbox to sync my bookmarks among my Macs.

This has been on the list of things to consider but we haven't gotten around to it yet.

I just spent a few minutes playing with DEVONagent and am a little confused because there are bookmarks all over the place.  It seems to be integrated with browsers' bookmarks, Safari in particular.  I also see there is a way to Add a bookmark to DEVONthink.  Are those the bookmarks you mean?  Do you really mean to support the bookmarks in DEVONthink?  Or am I off on the wrong track?

I am wondering if it is possible to use Bookmacster with the DEVONagent browser?  There are useful features when using the DEVONagent browser as well as better integration with DEVONthink, a database program that I use for scientific research.

I haven't found a way to make it work so I assume that this would require an update to DA or Bookmacster.

DEVONagent can be found at http://www.devontechnologies.com/products/devonagent/overview.html.
