OK, I just tried to post a picture as an attachment and remembered the problem.  When you add an attachment to a post, if you click Preview, then you get that head-scratching message.  But if you click Post Message, then it works.  The idea is that you cannot preview an attachment.  The solution is…

• Preview your message until it is perfect.
• Attach the attachment.
• Post Message.

This board, YaBB, is one of the better ones out there when it comes to blocking spam, which you don't see much of, but is really important to me.  I need to update it to the latest version; maybe some of these little annoyances will be fixed.

Actually, it's the other way around.

The following methods of adding a bookmark show the Inspector or not depending on the option key up or down…

• BookMacster's Status Menulet (Status Item) in Menu bar
• BookMacster's Dock Menu
• BookMacster's Anywhere Menu (global keyboard shortcut)
• BookMacsterize bookmarklet in any browser.
• BookMacster's button ("widget") in Google Chrome's toolbar.

The first four of those methods are applicable to Safari.

It is only BookMacster's Add Quickly and Add & Inspect menu items in Firefox which are not affected by the option key.

There's a preference setting to show the Inspector or not depending on whether or not the option key is held down.  And in Firefox, you can either Add Quickly (no inspector) or Add & Inspect (show inspector).

There are several things about this forum that I don't like either, but it's one of the better ones out there, and we try to focus most of our time on our products.  It's best if we can just try and live with some of these little forum annoyances.
