After my Bookmacster supposedly updated itself to 1.14.10, I was left with a non-launchable app with a generic app icon. Had to download and reinstall. Seems OK now.
Thank you, Rob.  Seems like that means faulty decompression, not faulty transmission.  I'll keep thinking about it.

But of course, I STILL don't get the "What's new" pane in the update notice. Weird.   OS 10.7.5
I've pretty much given up on that one.  10.7.5, though.

Thank you, Spaceman.

One other user reported this via email.  I haven't figured it out yet.  All of our Macs here updated with no problem.

Of course, what makes this even more complicated to troubleshoot is that, although we updated the Sparkle Check for Update framework in 1.14.10, it was actually the previous version of BookMacster that froze, because, you know, the new one hadn't been Installed and Relaunched yet.
Huh

We'll continue thinking about it.

OK, thanks. No big deal for me. But, as usual, thanks for the fast response.

Minor issue with install of 1.14.10

Jerry,

Today I tried installing 1.14.10 on two machines using the "Check for Update" feature. One machine is running Lion and the other Mountain Lion.

In both cases, the update was found as expected. However, once I clicked "Install and Relaunch", the update on both machines froze with the attached progress window. Everything else on the machine appeared normal, just the install process froze before restarting.

All I had to do was to log out and back in and the correct version is there.

Not a big deal but thought you should know.

Regards,
