Hello, brijazz.

Well, first of all the Client Associations thing works the opposite from the way you imply.  The Client Association does not appear until the item is exported.  Thus, the lack of Client Association is just another symptom of the problem, and will not lead to the cause.

The bookmark in your question has a quite normal URL which should be exported to all browsers, and I'm at a loss to explain how it could be imported and not exported if you did not touch any of the advanced settings in Settings > Client or  Settings > Agents.  Clues may be in the Logs; menu > BookMacster > Logs.  If you scroll back to when it was working, you will see how each Import operation is immediately followed by three Export operations (to the three browsers).  Also, of course,  check the Errors tab in that Logs window.

If you don't find the cause in there,

• Note the time on your computer's clock.
• Add a bookmark in Firefox.
• Wait 5 minutes or more.
• Activate BookMacster.
• Click in the menu: Help > Trouble Zipper.
• Follow the instructions given by Trouble Zipper.  The more data you choose to include, the better.  When it comes time to edit the email, tell us the name of the bookmark you added in Firefox, and the time you did so.

new issue with imported bookmarks

After faithfully using the same Bookmacster document to keep my Firefox, Safari and Chrome in sync for over two years, I’m suddenly having an issue with bookmarks imported from Firefox (which is my most-used browser).  For some reason, bookmarks being added to Firefox (and then imported by Bookmacster) are now only being associated with Firefox, and thus not being exported to my other browsers.

In the attached screenshot, you’ll see that I’ve just added a bookmark for “Read Ruler” to Firefox. Bookmacster imported it as expected, but it’s only being associated with Firefox.  Inspecting the bookmark doesn’t show any exclusions.  I’ve been able to reproduce this.

Any thoughts on how to fix this?  Perhaps worth noting is that I’m on on a Firefox 39 beta.  I usually stick with stable releases, but I was having an issue with FF 38 that the beta has cleared up.

EDIT: the forum won't let me insert a link because I haven't posted enough other messages previously  Roll Eyes  So here's a manual version of the link to the screenshot....
