Thank you for jumping in, Francis.  You are correct.  Agents are loaded, but they do not run until needed to handle bookmarks changes. 

The important point for users is that you should not leave Synkmark running. and also unless you have some really weird use case you should not make Synkmark a startup item.  Smarky, Synkmark and BookMacster Agents work most efficiently when the apps are not running.  Launch them only went you want to do reorganize or clean out bookmarks.  Pause syncing, do your housecleaning, resume syncing, and then quit the app.
