Hello, Stuart.

I don't recall any message labelled Apple Event Timeout when syncing with Safari.  Please send us some more information so we can identify it.  Sending it to our email support would be easier.  If this is a dialog produced by BookMacster, there is probably a life-preserver icon in its lower left corner.  Click that.  Otherwise, take a screenshot.

Sending us a Trouble Zip report (Help > Trouble Zipper), including your Safari bookmarks, would also be helpful.  Or at least give us some numbers to judge what you mean by large.  Thank you.

Increasing number of apple event timeout messages

Running latest El Capitan on iMac, recently the number of Apple Event Timeout messages have been increasing, requiring opening BM to re-establish syncing. This happens when I'm adding bookmarks in Safari to a large bookmark collection with many folders and subfolders. It's annoying and eats up time. Safari is set to sync bookmarks with iCloud, so it could be something to do with that.
