Hello, La Ca.  I just tested Bookmarks above folders in the latest version 2.9.7 of BookMacster and it works for me.  Common omissions in this area are:
  1. Understand that sorting settings such as Bookmarks above folders specify what will happen when sorting is done in the future.  Sortiing is not done until you either
    (a) click in the menu Bookmarks > Sort All, or
    (b) configure a Syncer to sort, quit the app, and change a bookmark in a watched browser (Firefox, Safari or whatever) which causes syncing to occur after a few minutes.
  2. The folder you expected to be sorted must be marked as Will be sorted.  See the first two icons in this list given in the Help Book.

Sorting a folder of bookmarks always sorts bookmarks and folders mixed regardless of the setting (e.g. bookmarks above folders).
I've tried sort by name, shortcut, URL, whatever.
Am I missing something?
