Hi,

I don't mean to be mean, but I have to say that Japanese translations are pretty bad. I understand that you are trying and that it takes time and resources to complete localization. But, as far as Japanese translations are concerned, I think it is better to turn the localization off. They are very confusing at some places. Also, they make the whole software look unfinished -- which may be quite damaging.

Just a thought.

Toshi

I'm cool with it being half way there. But keep on working on it (although I guess it's not a priority atm with 1.1 arriving at the horizon).

As you've noted, localization is only half done.  It just happened that way automatically because BookMacster uses the same strings files as Bookdog.  We were thinking of turning the localization off until if and when we can get it all done, but since no one has mentioned it we haven't bothered.

So now I'll add a poll --

What's up with localizations? Are they used or not. See picture below: that's a bit strange. If only the buttons are translated I'd rather have english buttons instead of having this wired mixture.
