Hey Jerry, thanks for your quick reply. Your workaround did the trick and now 284 firfox addon is installed properly. Thanks a lot. If you need more info to probably sort this out, let me know.

Although it works fine in all of our tests, several users have reported this problem in the last week.

If anyone is having this error or any similar error installing BookMacster's Firefox or Chrome extension, please download and run this AppleScript…

http://sheepsystems.com/files/ForumMsgRefs/ChromeFireFix.app.zip

It will reach inside your BookMacster application package, find the desired installer, and prompt you to run it.

see attached screenshot had a version BookMacster wanted to update. But that failed. Then I removed the addon to make a new install and received what you see in the screenshot.
