Hello ar1t,

BookMacster's Firefox Extension is used for several functions, and does not add the menu items, Bookmarking Widgets as we call them, by default.  This is set in PreferencesAdding.   However, this requires reinstalling the extension, which is probably going to give you the same trouble all over again and might not work.  We have some data from some users with this problem now, and are working on fixing this problem.  I'll get back to you on this thread.

Firefox extension adds no menu items

OS: Mac OS X 10.7.2
Firefox: 8.0.1
BookMacster: 1.9.4

The Firefox extension adds no menu items to the Firefox Bookmarks
menu or anyplace else I can see.

Firefox > Tools > Add-ons > Extensions tab
shows
"Sheep Systems Firefox Extension 284"

Bookmacster > Manage Browser Add-ons...
shows for Firefox Extension 284 (OK).  Clicking the Test button
causes a check icon to appear.

In Firefox, Control-D and Control-Option-D cause the cursor to
disappear, but have no other effect.

Quitting and restarting Firefox and BookMacster doesn't help.

I installed the Firefox extension (after several other ways
failed) as follows:
1) In the Finder, navigate to
i
2) contextual menu > Open With > Other...
3) select Firefox
4) click Install Now
5) restart Firefox

I did try ChromeFireFix.app first.  I got a dialog that said
"There is no application set to open the document
"sheepsystemsfirefoxextension.xpi" Search the App Store for an
applicaiton that can open this document, or choose an existing
application on your computer." The dialog offered 3 buttons:
Choose Application..., Cancel, and Search App Store.  I guess I
should have clicked Choose Application... and selected Firefox,
but I clicked Cancel.
