Thank you kindly, Howard!

I hadn't gotten around to contacting them yet, but I learned last week that AdwareMedic downloads a new signature file each time it runs.  Therefore the fix should be immediate and should not require users to update AdwareMedic.

If anyone is still having this issue, let us know.

I contacted Thomas Reed, the developer of the excellent Adware Medic to remove this file from the bad list. Within an hour he responded with "Done, sorry for the inconvenience! I've tightened up the signature for the Vidx adware to prevent this false positive"

Just a heads-up to those who have used AdwareMedic and then noticed that Chrome no longer syncs properly with BookMacster—it considers BookMacsterSync.crx adware and deletes it by moving it to the trash!
