Users who do not want to upgrade to 2.0 yet can install our new Firefox extension separately.  It works with versions 1.22.41-42 of our apps.  Details are in this support article.

Almost 2 months no reply? Jerry, to you have any roadmap to tackle this?

UPDATE: BookMacster 2.0 beta update info has:
   Firefox Add-On (Extension) and installer are now compatible with Firefox 42+.
Thus this might be a 2.0 feature.

Hi Jerry,

will the browser add-on for Firefox be signed? When are you planning to provide a signed add-on?

Afaik, FF 41 will start disabling unsigned add-ons with the option to manually enable them via about:config. FF 43 will not allow manual enabling.
