Well, after a few more openings and closings of the Bookmarkshelf file (while investigating another behaviour) my "BookMacster" bookmark is now sorted correctly, without me having changed any settings, only repeat runs.

Before posting the initial post on this I had run BookMacster a few times (not just once) and it was resolutely not sorting the renamed bookmark.

Any comment?

Long time Bookdog user, new to BookMacster (1.2.6 demo). MacBook Pro, 10.6.4.

I seem to have got things working pretty well and liking the app a lot. I am using BookMacster to sync Safari (default) and Firefox bookmarks.

I have my Bookmarkshelf file set to import (mirror-open) and sort on opening, and export (mirror-save) on close. Automatically save on closing. All boxes ticked in the Clients tab.

The first bookmark I added was the BookMacster forum. I saved it as the default name which was something like "Macs and Bookmarks BookMacster", began with "M" anyway.

Running BookMacster sorted it into the right alphabetical place, with the "M" s and it appeared there in Firefox, Safari and Bookmarkshelf.

Then I editted its name to just "BookMacster" with the Bookmacster Inspector.

It now appears in all three places (Safari, Firefox and Bookmarkshelf as "BookMacster", BUT it it still located in the "M"s, not the "B"s.

It is still being sorted by it's original name, not its new and current name.

Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug?
