You didn't say much about your settings, so we're going to take it from the top.

I presume that you have enabled syncing by somehow getting to the Settings > Agents tab.  If the Agents tab is set to Advanced, switch to Simple.  Then click the Full Syncing button which will switch on four of the five checkboxes.  Switch on the fifth (sorting) checkbox too.

In Settings > Clients, Firefox and Safari should be clients and, for both of them, both the Import and Export checkboxes are on (4 checkmarks).  Finally, the Syncing button in the toolbar should have a green dot in it.

Also, click in the menu: BookMacster > Manage Browser Add-Ons.  Make sure that the Firefox extension is installed and indicates OK when you Test it.  If it does not work, reinstall as shown in this video.

Another significant setting is in Preferences > Syncing, the popup menu at the top gives you a little control over how fast syncing occurs.

To sort and sync manually requires three clicks:

• File > Import from all.
• Bookmarkshelf > Sort All.  If this menu item is disabled that means your bookmarks are already sorted.
• File > Export to all.
