Oh, indeed I see that it does not work when using the contextual menu.

I'm not sure - there may be some fundamental reason why it is the way it is.  Anyhow, I've entered a bug to see if we think about that and determine if the behavior should be changed in a future version, to match your initial expectation.

Thank you for contacting us.  I just tested this in Version 3.0.12 and it works for me.  Remember that when you select an option such as this in the tab Settings > Sorting, it only configures how sorting will be done, when sorting is done.  To do the sorting immediately, you must then click in the main menu: Bookmarks > Sort All.

Of course, if you have configured our app for Syncing with sorting, sorting will also occur, with your selected options, the next time and every time that your bookmarks are synced.
