Delicious after AVOS acquisition

Yesterday afternoon, Delicious announced that they were sold by Yahoo! to a new company, AVOS.

Today, we received a reply from Delicious that, as far as they know, AVOS will continue to support the application interface which is currently used by BookMacster and other apps.  Indeed, I can't think of any good reason why they would not.  Of course, authentication by linking to Yahoo! accounts will be dropped, and they will go back to using the "Old Skool" username and password which they used before their acquisition by Yahoo!  BookMacster currently supports both "Old Skool" authentication and Yahoo! account linking.

Based on this information, we plan that BookMacster will continue to support Delicious after their acquisition by AVOS, and that any changes that are required in BookMacster will be made in minor updates to BookMacster, something we're doing constantly anyhow.
